The historic country India

India is great historic, famous tourist places in the world. The area of India is 32,87,263 sq.km. If we talk about area than India holds seventh place in the world but it holds second place in population. the capital of India is New Delhi in past in British time the capital of India was Calcutta which is known as kolkatata at present. The length from east to west is 2,933 km and from North to west is 3214 km. India has divided into 30 states.

Delhi- The State of India

Delhi is very old and historical state of India, it’s area is 1,483 sqkm. Yamuna River, Delhi was established by Anantpal of tomar caste in 11th century. After freedom in 1947 A.D. it was declare as the capital of India in 1956 A.D
Delhi was declared as the central ruled state. The population of Delhi is approximately crore. In east of Delhi Haryana state is situated, In south- west Rajasthan is situated and in east Uttar pradesh is situated. The state language of Delhi is Hindi and its state animal is . The main crops of Delhi are Vegetables. There are many big and small industries in Delhi in past there were many big industries in Delhi, due to pollution and other matters every big industries were transferred to its neighbouring state Haryana and Uttar pradesh.
Delhi is the capital so it speaks almost every language but mostly delhi people speaks Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. If we talk about religious and festival than Delhi celebrates each and every festival than, Delhi celebrates each and every festival very joyfully. Delhi people mainly celebrates Dashhara(Navratri), Deepawali, Id, Bakrid, Ramnavmi, Chirsmas, Holi and many more.
Because delhi is tourist place so it had huge no. of tourist place like Lalquila, Jama masjid, India gate, Cannaught place, Kutubminar, Firozshah kotla, Nizamuddin ka makbara, Lodi ka makbara, Mugal garden, Hauge khas, safdarjung ka makbara, President palace, Gardens, Delhi metro and many more.

The biggest state in Area is Rajasthan and small state in area is Goa. The International border which are touching India are in north china, Nepal and Bhutan in south srilanka, in east mayanmar, Bangladesh and in west Pakistan and Afganistan. The jammu kasmir is touching to china, pakistan, afganistan,


The Climate of India
Generally India have monsoon climate. The India climate has affected by two factor one is the presence of Himalyas in north due to this the hot air of mid Asia does not come to India. Second factor is the presence of the Indian Ocean.
In hot seasons the low pressure area is occurred in whole india and Pakistan. The heavy rainfall state In area are Asam, Meghalay, west bangal where there is more than 1000mm. In India Masinram is the place where yearly average rainfall is 11,405mm. Masinram is one step ahead than charapuji for rainfall and these both place is in Meghalay state in India. The Medium rainfall states are Bihar, North uttar Pradesh, Oodisa and Himachal Pradesh where there is 500- 1000 mm rainfall yearly. The less rainfall area is Rajasthan and the whole state which are not mensioned above where there is 100-500 mm than and north-west gujrat is where there is less than 100mm rainfall.

The Indian river and their Helping river
Sindhu, Ganga, Yamuna, Ghagra, Koshi, Damodar, Brahamaputra, Narmada, Tapti, Mahanadi, Godabari, Krishna and Kaveri are the main river of India and their helping river are as follows:-
Sindhu river:- the helping river of Sindhu comes form Himalyas they are gating, Jasker, trass, Shiyok, Siger, gilagat and Hanja. In Land area the main river are Jhelum, chinaab, raavi, Byas and Satlaj river. Chinnab is the biggest helping river of Sindhu.
Ganga :- The helping river of Ganga are tones, Punpun, Yamuna, Son, Ramganga, Gomti, Ghagara, Gandak, koshi, and Mahananda are the Main . when the alkanand and Bhagirathi meets in Devprayag form there it is Known as Ganga. When this river enter in Bangladesh than it is known as Padma.
Yamuna :- Chambal, Betwa, and Son is the helping river of Yamuna and it meets with Ganga in Illahabad which is also known as Sangam.
Ghagra :- The helping river of Ghagra are Tapti and Sharda.
Koshi:- Arun and tamur are the helping river of Koshi.
Damodar:- Barakar, Konar and jamuna are the helping river of Damodar.
Brahamaputra :- The helping river for this river are Raka, Sangpo, Naangchu, Keechu, chu, dihang, Lohit, dhanshree, Manas and tista
Narmada :-sher, Duti, Tawa and hiran are the helping river of Narmada. Narmada is the straight follow river of India.
Tapti :- Purna, Baighar, girna, Bori, Panjhara, aanera are the helping river Of Tapti.
Mahanadi :- Shivnath, Hasdev, Mand and Iib is the Helping river of Mahanadi.
Godabari :- Prawara, Purna, Manpra, Panganga, Bain ganga, Bargha, Pranhita, Indravati, Manera and sabsi are the helping river of godabari
Krishna:- Kochna, Ghatprabha, Malprabha, Bhima, tung vadra, Musi and Muneru is the helping river of Kirshna.
Kaveri :- Laxman tirth, kabini, swarnavati, Bhawani, heraji, hemvati, shimsha, and Arkavati are the helping river.
